THE WHITE STRIPES fue una banda estadounidense de Punk Blues formada por los hermanos Jack (voz, guitarra, piano) y Meg White (batería, percusión y voz segundaria), en 1997 en Detroit. Llegaron a lanzar seis álbumes de studio: “The White Stripes” (1999), “De Stijl” (2000), “White Blood Cells” (2001), “Elephant” (2003), “Get Behind Me Satan” (2005) y “Icky Thump” (2007). Sus sencillos más destacados fueron: “Seven Nation Army”, “Fell In Love With A Girl”, “I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself”, “Icky Thump”, “Jolene”, etc.
El dúo llegó a vender alrededor de 11,5 millones de discos a nivel mundial y cada uno de sus últimos tres trabajos discográficos ganaron el Grammy como “Mejor Álbum de Música Alternativa”.

DEAD LEAVES AND THE DIRTY GROUND:

Es el tercer sencillo del album “White Blood Cells” de la banda The White Stripes. Fue escrito por el vocalista Jack White y su lanzamiento se hizo en agosto de 2002 en formato de CD, Disco de Vinilo y DVD. Es una canción de género musical Garage Rock y tiene una duración de 3:04 minutos.
