SLASH - GOTTEN.

SLASH es una reconocido guitarrista de Hard Rock nacido el 23 de junio de 1965 en Hampstead, Londres. Se hizo conocido gracias a su incorporación en 1985 al grupo Guns N’ Roses, en el cual se mantuvo durante muchos años hasta dejarlo por problemas con el vocalista Axl Rose. En 1994 forma Slash’s Snakepit junto Gilby Clarke, Matt Sorum, Mike Inez y Eric Dover; y al año siguiente editan su primer álbum de estudio “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere”. En el año 2000 lanzaron “Ain’t Life Grand” el cual contó con diferente formación. El guitarrista también formó Slash’s Blues Ball, una banda de covers de blues que nunca llegó a editar ningún disco. En el año 2002 formó la banda Velvet Revolver junto a Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum, Dave Kushner y Scott Weiland (ex-vocalista de Stone Temple Pilots). El grupo llegó a editar dos trabajos discográficos hasta separarse en 2008 por problemas con Weiland. En 2010 Slash editó su primer álbum homónimo, el cual cuenta con diversas colaboraciones de artistas como: Ozzy Osbourne, Fergie, Adam Levine, Lemmy Killmister, Dave Grohl, etc. A lo largo de los años el guitarrista se ha caracterizado por: usar un sombrero negro sobre su larga cabellera, tocar casi siempre con guitarras Gibson Les Paul y amplificadores Marshall; y fundamentalmente por la originalidad de sus solos.
