DEAD BY SUNRISE es la banda alterna del vocalista de Linkin Park, Chester Bennington, que comenzó a formarse en el año 2005. Los demás integrantes son: Ryan Shuck (guitarra, coro), Amir Derakh (guitarra, sintetizadores), Brandon Belsky (bajo), Elias Andra (batería) y Anthony Fu Valcic (teclado).
El grupo tiene influencias Synth Rock, Post Grunge, Rock Alternativo y Hard Rock, con canciones más oscuras y personales que las de Linkin Park.
Han editado un álbum de estudio titulado “Out Of Ashes” (2009), que contiene doce canciones y dos bonus tracks, como sencillos se lanzaron: “Crawl Back In”, “Let Down”, “Inside Of Me” y “Too Late”.
