FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE - HACKENSACK.

FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE es una banda estadounidense de Indie y Power Pop, fundada en 1996 en la ciudad de Nueva York. Está integrada por Chris Collingwood (voz, segunda guitarra), Adam Schlesinger (bajo, teclado, coro), Jody Porter (primera guitarra, coro) y Brian Young (batería). Lanzaron su álbum debut homónimo el 1 de octubre de 1996. El mismo contiene 12 canciones de las cuales se tomaron 3 como sencillos. Tres años después editaron “Utopia Parkway”, el cual no tuvo éxito comercial vendiendo alrededor de 125.000 copias. El 10 de junio de 2003 salió a la venta “Welcome Interstate Managers”, el cual le proporcionó cierto reconocimiento de un público mayor gracias al sencillo “Stacy’s Mom”. El cuarto disco de la banda titulado “Traffic And Weather” fue lanzado el 3 de abril de 2007, contiene 14 canciones y 2 bonus tracks. El 20 de julio de 2011 sale a la venta “Sky Full Of Holes”, del cual se extrajeron los sencillos “Richie And Ruben” y “Someone’s Gonna Break Your Heart”.
